Welcome to the Halewood CultureFest Website

Halewood CultureFest is an annual programme of cultural, artistic, environmental and sporting events in various locations around Halewood which aims to: -

 a) Encourage local residents to try new activities.

 b) Enable local groups to showcase their
 activities and attract new members.

 c) Promote community cohesion.

This Website will be used to keep you informed of all the activities in the Halewood CultureFest week.

Use the drop down menu on the left of the page to get details of each event.

Tickets for each event (where required) can be requested by using the "Contact Page".

Halewood CultureFest is very grateful, this year, for the support of Specsavers Opticians, Halewood who have provided raffle prizes and other items for a number of this year’s events in the CultureFest programme

Message from Our Patron Mr Richard McCullagh

In a year dominated by the unsettling aspects of Brexit, Trump, Syria, Facebook, fake news and the social media, it is reassuring to report the solid unchallengeable fact that Halewood CultureFest now enters its eleventh successive and hopefully successful year.

European culture capitals may come and go but Halewood’s culture, like the famous brew is "still going strong".

This year's programme repeats old favourites, revives past but not forgotten hardies and even dares to tiptoe into the unknown! There is quite literally something for everyone in Halewood be it
musical, theatrical, artistic, sporting, natural or spiritual.

All that is needed to complement the hard work of the steering group, so ably led by Alison Shacklady, is for the people of Halewood both young and old to support whichever events most take their fancy.

I look forward to meeting old faces and new at this year's CultureFest.

Richard McCullagh (Patron)
